The second visit to me for this beautiful family was nothing short of delightful.

A couple of years previously, L+N brought baby Georgie to me for her newborn photoshoot, and I still remember how magical that day was. It’s such a wonderful honor to witness a family grow and to have them return for more cherished memories. This time, they brought along their new addition, baby Jax, and it filled my heart with joy to capture yet another chapter in their family’s story.

I absolutely love capturing those precious moments between siblings, and whenever older siblings are involved, it adds an extra layer of fun and excitement to the session. It’s always interesting to see how they interact with the new baby, and I encourage parents to bring their older children along for this reason. Sometimes, the older siblings relish the opportunity to shine in front of the camera, while other times, things can get a bit chaotic. But that’s all part of the experience!

To keep the atmosphere light and fun, I often incorporate playful activities during the shoot. Singing their favorite songs or engaging in silly games can make the session enjoyable for everyone involved. It’s incredibly rewarding when the older siblings begin to take an active role in the session, whether that’s helping to soothe the baby or interacting with them in a sweet way. These candid moments often turn out to be some of the most genuine and heartfelt images, showcasing the beautiful bond between siblings, even if sometimes we have to resort to bribery with some chocolate!
